A man and his wife were arrested near Krugersdorp after a dagga plantation was discovered on their property.
|||A man and his wife were arrested in Hekpoort, near Krugersdorp, on Monday after a dagga plantation was discovered on their property, Gauteng police said.
Captain Kabelo Marumo said the couple, in their 30s, were in possession of dagga with a street value estimated at R3 million.
“The man was convicted previously for a similar offence and was given a four years' suspended sentence,” said Marumo.
The couple would appear in the Krugersdorp Magistrate's Court on Thursday on charges of dealing in and possession of dagga. - Sapa
