|||Human remains which could be those of slain police constable Francis Rasuge were found in her boyfriend's home in Temba, outside Pretoria, on Tuesday, said police.
Construction workers came across the bones while laying a foundation at the house of William Nkune, said Lt-Col Katlego Mogale.
“The members of the K9 Unit and forensic lab found several bones including a skull,” she said.
Nkune has been sentenced to life in prison for Rasuge's murder in 2005. Rasuge's body was never found.
“At this stage, we cannot say whether the bones belong to a woman or a man. All we have are human bones,” said Mogale.
She said the bones had been taken to a forensic laboratory for DNA testing. - Sapa
