|||A North West man accused of murder was denied bail in the Potchefstroom Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, police said.
Captain Amanda Funani said 48-year-old Nigerian national James Chikwaemek Amabua was arrested last month. He is accused of killing 16-year-old Tsholofelo Simango.
“Amabua will remain in custody until his next court appearance on April 19,” Funani said.
Police discovered Simango's badly decomposed body near the Trim Park in Potchefstroom on March 17, after she was reported missing a week earlier. Funani said the court room was packed with angry residents. - Sapa
