|||A Free State man appeared in the Bethlehem Magistrate’s Court on Thursday in connection with the body of an unknown woman found in a wardrobe.
Police spokeswoman Sergeant Majang Skalkie said Christian van Wyk, 39, was granted R3,000 bail and the matter was postponed to May 14.
Police said the woman had still not been identified.
Van Wyk was arrested after police found the naked body of a woman inside a wardrobe at a flat in Bethlehem on Tuesday.
Skalkie said police followed up on information they received from the community when they made the discovery at the flat.
The victim had no visible injuries and there were no identification documents at the scene. - Sapa
