|||A security guard shot and killed himself during a firearm training session in Nelspruit on Friday, Mpumalanga police said.
Colonel Leonard Hlathi said Samuel Mathebula, 44, was employed by the Galant Security Company.
“Mathebula apparently mishandled a firearm and a shot went off, killing him instantly.”
Police appealed to all organisations to make sure only qualified and skilled employees were put in charge of firearms training. - Sapa
