A high school in Kroonstad has lost five computers and 24 central processing units in a burglary.
|||A high school in Maokeng, Kroonstad, has lost five computers with screens and 24 central processing units in a burglary, police said on Tuesday.
Captain Stephen Thakeng said the robbery happened at Kananelo High school and was discovered by a school employee when he opened the school at 7am on Tuesday.
Principal Khoarai Khoarai was informed and he rushed to the school while calling the police at Maokeng police station.
Police said the robbers gained entry into the school building through the roof. The goods were stolen from two offices after the robbers disabled the alarm system. Police found a printer and an electrical kettle near a fence on the premises.
