An Automated Telling Machine (ATM) was bombed in Lansdowne, Cape Town, on Wednesday morning, police said.
Lt-Col Andrè Traut said the ATM, on the corner of Lansdowne and Crosscut roads, was blown up at 2:45am.
No injuries were reported and no arrests were made.
It was unclear whether any money was taken.
“ATM bombings are regarded (as) high on our priority list, and every endeavour is made to apprehend those responsible,” Traut said. - Sapa
