|||A six-year-old girl rescued her two-year-old brother from drowning in a swimming pool in Pomona, Kempton Park, paramedics said on Thursday.
“It is not clear as to why the little boy fell into the pool, but we believe that the boy was pulled out after a short period of submersion by his sister,” said ER24 spokeswoman Vanessa Jackson.
“Paramedics arrived to find the little boy was breathing, but he was extremely cold. They started stabilising him on scene and then transported him to the Life Glynnwood Hospital for further care,” she said. - Sapa
