ER24 spokeswoman Vanessa Jackson said two cars collided head-on, causing another crash.
“The (men's) car was extensively damaged and landed with the front of the vehicle crushed onto the road, the rear sticking upwards. Another sedan and a bakkie collided into the wreck of the first accident,” she said in a statement.
“The two men, believed to be around the age of 30, did not survive their injuries and they died on scene. Their remains were later cut from the wreck using the Jaws of Life.”
Jackson said the two women sustained moderate injuries and were treated on the scene before they were transported to hospital for further treatment. - Sapa
