Police have opened a case of culpable homicide after a man was killed when a car collided with his motorcycle just outside George.

Police spokeswoman Captain Bernadine Steyn said Douglas Grobler, 34, of George, died when a white BMW with two occupants hit a blue Suzuki on Friday afternoon.
The car and motocycle were travelling in Knysna Avenue, going towards Wilderness. It is understood the BMW made a U-turn, colliding with the motorcycle.
Steyn said the BMW driver was taken to hospital in George with moderate injuries.
* At the Koeberg Interchange on Saturday, emergency workers used the jaws of life to free a truck driver who was trapped when his vehicle overturned.
ER24 spokesman Derrick Banks said the driver was seriously hurt after he lost control of his vehicle on a bend where the M5 crossed on to the N1.
Banks said the driver needed advanced life support at the scene. He was treated for suspected neck and back injuries, and minor cuts and taken to hospital.
