|||Pretoria - Recent political developments had significantly affected Gauteng's political landscape, the ANC and SACP regional branches said on Tuesday.
In a meeting this week, the African National Congress and SA Communist Party Gauteng regions took note of recent political developments, including the cabinet reshuffle in the Gauteng provincial government, they said in a statement on Tuesday.
“It was agreed that all the developments had significant impact on the political landscape of the province,” said ANC Gauteng secretary David Makhura and SACP Gauteng secretary Jacob Mamabolo in the statement.
The parties had agreed meet again in September to deal with, among other things, preparations for the 2014 elections, developing an agenda for decent jobs in Gauteng and driving programmes aimed at ensuring state transformation. - Sapa
