|||Johannesburg - The search for a truck driver who was involved in accident that claimed the lives of 12 people in Vereeniging is continuing on Friday, Gauteng police said.
“We are working with the truck company to locate him,” said Lt-Col Lungelo Dlamini. “We understand that he was taken to hospital and then discharged.”
The truck collided head-on with a minibus taxi carrying 12 passengers at the intersection of Houtkop and Boy Louw roads on Thursday.
The passengers were workers from a company in Klerksdorp. - Sapa
