Brigadier Thulani Ngubane said local residents accused the man on Friday of being involved in a ritual murder after a body was found next to his business premises.
“It is alleged that close to 350 angry community members... gathered and held a meeting in a play ground. After the meeting they went to the business premises,” Ngubane said.
“The community members allegedly burnt down two vehicles, a bakkie and a sedan, and damaged the property of the man they accused of murder. They destroyed a wall and broke windows of business premises.”
The body of 54-year-old Basimane Kgatwe was found on January 31. Two men have already been arrested for his murder.
The 15 will appear in the Lehurutshe Magistrate's Court on Monday. - Sapa
