|||A 14-year-old boy accused of murdering his grandmother remained in protective custody after appearing in the Mankweng Regional Court on Friday, said Limpopo police.
“The boy's bail application was delayed until Monday with his defence asking the court for more time to prepare,” said Constable Moses Molepo.
He allegedly used an electrical cord to strangle his 68-year-old grandmother during an argument.
She had apparently told him to switch off the television and do household chores.
The youth was arrested on February 4 at Thune section, near the Woodbush Forest Reserve. - Sapa
