|||Police were searching on Monday for five men who assaulted and robbed a woman farmer outside King William's Town at the weekend, Eastern Cape police said.
The group entered her farmhouse in Kei Road on Sunday morning and held her at knife and gunpoint, said Captain Ernest Sigobe.
The 45-year-old woman was assaulted and tied up with her worker.
The gang took a pistol, two cellphones and a bakkie, and fled.
Police later found the vehicle abandoned on the R65 near Bhisho. – Sapa
