A head-on collision in Umlazi, south of Durban, has left three people seriously hurt.
|||Three people were injured - one man critically so - when a bus and a car collided head-on at Umlazi, south of Durban on Thursday morning.
Spokesman for Netcare911, Jeff Wicks, said it appeared as though the driver of the car lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a bend on Veny Yeni road in A Section.
“The [car] pushed from the allocated lane and into the path of the bus. The two collided and skidded to a halt wedged against one another,” he said.
A passerby reportedly pulled those trapped in the vehicles out to safety.
Wicks said all the injured were treated and stabilised at the scene, before being taken to Prince M'Shiyeni Memorial Hospital for care. - IOL
