|||President Jacob Zuma visited Northern Cape premier Hazel Jenkins at her Kimberley home on Wednesday after her discharge from hospital, the Presidency said.
“She has made a remarkable recovery,” Zuma said in a statement.
Jenkins suffered a stroke last month and collapsed about 30 minutes into her state of the province address at the CRC church. She was discharged from hospital on Tuesday.
“Her family and all of us are relieved. Her doctors are happy with the progress she is making,” said Zuma.
