A doctor accused of raping a girl in a hospital was granted bail.
|||A doctor accused of raping a girl in a hospital was granted bail by the Brits Magistrate's Court on Friday, North West police said.
The 31-year-old doctor was released on R1 000 bail, Brigadier Thulane Ngubane said. The case was postponed to June 5 for further investigation.
The man was arrested on Friday after he was identified in a police parade.
Ngubane said the girl was waiting for her mother after being discharged from hospital. The doctor allegedly called her, took her into one of the rooms and raped her. - Sapa
